Dr. Hubbell Langer is the Barry L. MacLean Professor of Molecular Engineering Innovation and Enterprise, Institute for Molecular Engineering and Professor, Committee on Immunology at the University of Chicago. In addition to his membership in the National Academy of Engineering, Dr. Hubbell is the former president of the Society for Biomaterials. Dr. Hubbell also is an elected fellow of Biomaterials Science and Engineering, of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering.

Dr. Furfine is Chief Scientific Officer and acting-Chief Executive Officer at ImmuneXcite.  Previously, Dr. Furfine was at Eleven Biotherapeutics, where his roles included Chief Scientific Officer and President of Research and Development. Prior to Eleven Biotherapeutics, he served as the Senior Vice President of Research and Preclinical Development of Adnexus Therapeutics, Inc., a Bristol-Myers Squibb research and development company.
